Jillibean Happy 4 Card

Happy Labor Day to my US peeps!  I have always thought it was funny that it is called Labor Day, but most people have the day off.  I am sure there is a story behind that, but I just haven't take the time to look it up.

Jillibean Soup is celebrating four years of being in business this month and they are doing contests, prizes and giveaways.  The first contest was to make a birthday card.  I am sure this isn't a winning card, but it was quite fun to do and didn't take long at all.  I may do another (you can enter multiples), but I haven't decided! Fair warning, this has already resulted in making 3 non birthday cards.  So there will be a few cards on here this week.

Supplies: Pattern Paper-Jillibean Soup (Grandma's Lima Bean); Cardstock-American Crafts; Scallop Sprout-Jillibean Soup; Letters-Jillibean Soup; Punch-Fiskars; Adhesives-Scotch ATG and Scrapbook Adhesives

I popped up the letter stickers and the scallop ring around the number 4.  I do believe this is the first time in a LONG time that I have not used any ribbon or twine on a card!

Well, that's it from me.  I am going to enjoy my day off, maybe get out of the house and do something fun.  And you know there will probably be scrapping in there somewhere!
